Colorado Springs — UNLV running back Frank Summers and linebacker Beau Bell were named Mountain West Conference Players of the Week Monday for their roles in the Rebels’ 27-0 upset of Utah.

Wyoming running back Devin Moore shared the offensive award with Summers, while New Mexico place kicker John Sullivan won the special teams honor.

Summers ran for 190 yards and scored three touchdowns Saturday as UNLV snapped an 11-game losing streak to Utah dating to 1979.

Bell had 10 tackles and forced a fumble in the game to earn the MWC’s weekly award on defense.

Moore rushed for 198 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns Saturday in Wyoming’s 34-33 come-from-behind victory at Ohio.

Sullivan accounted for 16 points Saturday in New Mexico’s 58-0 home win over Sacramento State. The senior converted field goals of 36, 30 and 37 yards and made all seven extra-point attempts.
