Vice President Dick Cheney is slated to land in Denver on Thursday for a quick-hit fundraiser for the state Republican Party.
The private event is to be held about 5 p.m. at the downtown offices of Benson Mineral Group, headed by longtime GOP backer Bruce Benson. A couple dozen loyalists are expected, each asked to contribute up to $12,650, the annual combined federal and state limit.
