DENVER—A judge has set a November 19th deadline for federal prosecutors to decide which classified Qwest documents will be made available for a civil fraud trial against five former executives of the telecommunications company.
Prosecutors had asked for 90 more days to decide which ones to make available.
Magistrate Judge Craig Shaffer refused, setting the November date.
The Securities and Exchange Commission lawsuit accuses the former executives of orchestrating a financial fraud that allowed Qwest to improperly report approximately three billion dollars in revenue.
The company later restated the revenue.
