DES MOINES, Iowa—A Powerball ticket sold in Kentucky matched all six numbers to win the midweek jackpot worth $61.5 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were 25, 27, 31, 44 and 54. The Powerball was 8 and the multiplier was 2.
Kentucky Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold in Bardstown, but the winner had not yet come forward.
Five tickets matched the first five numbers only to win $200,000. They were sold in Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee.
Colorado’s top prize was $20,000 for two Power Play tickets that matched the Powerball plus four of the other numbers, the Colorado Lottery said.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
The game is now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Colorado has never sold a Powerball jackpot-winning ticket.
