Breakfast in America serves up plenty of classic sounds, hearty eats just off highway

If the playgrounds of Aspen, the hikes of Snowmass-Maroon Bells or plain old Interstate 70 traffic have you hungry for a breakfast with up-valley flair and down-valley portions and prices, head to Breakfast in America. Locals, hunters, families and Beautiful People grab tables outside on the funky patio or indoors at a four-sided counter surrounding the grill, where magic is made and the ’70s tunes rock hard. You’ll fetch your own coffee, tea or cappuccino, but that means no waiting for the first cup or for refills. Portions of creative breakfast combos come piled on huge Fiesta- ware platters. The toast with your order is artisan whole grain, the marmalade on the table is house-made mango-lime and the hash browns don’t come from a bag. Sweet.
