A 20-year-old man is accused of taking LSD, running through the streets of Boulder naked and sexually assaulting a University of Colorado student inside a dormitory building.

Chandler Ross Wyatt was arrested today and is being held at the Boulder County Jail, according to CU police. He is a student at CU.

Wyatt faces multiple counts including sex assault, criminal trespass, indecent exposure, resisting arrest and a drug charge.

In a press release, CU police said they received a 911 call at about 9:00 p.m. Thursdayabout a naked man in the area of Regent Drive and Kittredge Loop.

A short time later police received a second call about a naked man “on acid” at the Cheyenne-Arapaho dorm, at 960 Green Mountain Drive, on the campus.

At about 9:20 police were called Hallett Hall, 2250 Willard Loop, on the campus, about a naked man being restrained by residents of the hall.

Witnesses told officers that Wyatt entered Hallett Hall naked and ran through the building. He barged into a room occupied by two female students, police said, and was told to leave. He assaulted one of the students in a hallway outside the room, police said.

Students rushed to help the woman being assaulted and Wyatt punched one man in the face, police said.

He was held there until police arrived and taken to Boulder Community Hospital because he was under the influence of drugs, police said.

Police believe Wyatt had taken LSD with another man, also a student, who had also been seen running around naked.

The investigation is ongoing and decisions on charges against the second naked man will not likely be made until next week, police said.

The second man’s name was not released.
