ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—A pedestrian has been killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Denver suburb of Englewood.
Police say a woman was crossing Belleview Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. Monday when she was hit by a westbound vehicle. Her name hasn’t been released.
Investigators say the vehicle didn’t stop after the collision.
Witnesses described it as small, dark and shiny, low to the ground with blue-tinted headlights.
Police say the vehicle probably has front-end damage.
