Three teams of firefighters in Fort Collins fought a blaze that destroyed an unoccupied six-plex this morning, officials said.
Firefighters were called to the 3800 block of Manhattan Avenue at 4:31 a.m. and the building was burning intensely, said Patrick Love, spokesman for the Poudre Fire Authority.
Reinforcements were immediately called and it took 45 minutes to extinguished the fire that gutted the apartment complex that hasn’t been occupied in several years, Love said.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the blaze, he said. He did not know the value of the 6-plex. No one was hurt, he said.
