Aaron Cook might have missed much of the on-field excitement during the Rockies’ playoff run because of an injury, but none on the fishing front.
The veteran pitcher took advantage of a trip to Milwaukee to join his cousin Ryan Paradowski, a former fireman, for an offshore trip on Lake Michigan.
“We started with a 3:30 a.m. wake-up call and were about 3-5 miles offshore,” Cook said of an expedition trolling with Dipsy Divers.
The lunker measured 31 inches, with a 22-inch girth.
