FORT MORGAN, Colo.—Law enforcement authorities in Morgan County have found a burglary suspect who escaped from an interview room and fled from the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Jim Crone says 20-year-old Shelby Allen escaped about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday from a room at the sheriff’s department where he was being interviewed and was found around 5 p.m. in nearby Brush
Allen’s escape prompted Fort Morgan School District officials to placed all schools on external lockdown.
