Interpol. Following the same path taken by fellow New York hipsters the Strokes, this dark, post-punk band strays only slightly from formula on its third album, “Our Love to Admire,” which still places it among the better releases of the year. The quartet plays with Liars on Sunday at the Fillmore Auditorium, 1510 Clarkston St., 7 p.m. $27-$30.

Teen Battle of the Bands. If you want to catch one of Colorado’s next breakout bands way before it hits the big time, check out this event at O’Brien Park, featuring Stilwell, the Dharma Bums, Cody Crump, Cider Court, Castle of Clouds and others. Saturday, 10795 Victorian Drive in Parker. Noon-8 p.m. Free.

Denver Eclectic Concerts. This series lives up to its name with its Sunday offering, which includes high-energy Jewish world-beat act Los Lantzmun, the Parabola Trio (featuring members of the Intermezzo Chamber Players) and Andean guitar/flute duo Ransoli & Camacho. The Kirk of Bonnie Brae, 1201 S. Steele St., 3 p.m. Free, but donations benefit the Denver Waldorf School.
