EAGLE, Colo.—An airplane has landed on Interstate 70 near the Eagle County Airport, shutting down westbound lanes between Gypsum and Eagle.
Witnesses said they saw the plane land and continue driving down the highway toward the Gypsum exit.
Carole Bukovich saw the landing from her office window. She told the Vail Daily there didn’t appear to be any cars in the westbound lanes when the plane landed but there were cars headed eastbound.
