DES MOINES, Iowa—A Powerball ticket sold in Colorado matched all six numbers drawn to win the midweek jackpot worth $20 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.

It is the first Powerball jackpot-winning ticket sold in Colorado since the state joined the game back in 2001, according to the Colorado Lottery.

The randomly-selected numbers on Wednesday were 12, 16, 31, 33 and 54. The Powerball was 5 and the multiplier was 4.

There was no immediate word on exactly where the winning ticket was purchased.

Four tickets sold in Kentucky, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and South Dakota matched the first five numbers only to win $200,000.

Another ticket sold in Colorado matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $10,000.

Powerball is now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The jackpot will revert to the minimum of $15 million for the next drawing on Saturday.
