CRESTED BUTTE MOUNTAIN RESORT: Announced that Jack Gibbons has accepted the position of mountain manager effective immediately. Gibbons has been the ski area’s ski patrol director for the past two years.
PERU: Boulderites Ken and Ruth Wright each received the Order of Merit for Distinguished Services by Supreme Resolution of Peruvian President Alan Garcia Perez. The awards were in recognition of the Wrights’ work on the ancient use of water by the Inca civilization in Peru. Ken Wright is founder of the consulting firm Wright Water Engineers; Ruth Wright is an attorney and former state representative and House minority leader.
COLORADO CANCER RESEARCH PROGRAM: Elected Teena Hohl to its board of directors. Hohl is a vice president and branch manager for Citywide Banks in Aurora.
JOCKS AND JILLS SPORTS GRILL: Kirk Enochs and Dan Echols were named assistant general managers of the Parker sports restaurant.
