Getting your player ready...

The governors of Colorado and Arizona are prepared to face ridicule and a potentially wrenching couture clash over the National League Championship Series.

Each is prepared to wager a day of wearing the enemy’s jersey, if their team loses the matchup.

Gov. Bill Ritter has agreed to wear a Diamondbacks Sedona red jersey if the Rockies don’t win the seven-game playoff series.

Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano would don a purple and black Rockies jersey, should the Diamondbacks lose, according to Ritter’s office.

No word on whether the friendly bet also includes taunting rights.
