Authorities are looking for a white automobile missing a rear-view mirror, which it lost when it collided with a bicyclist Wednesday afternoon in Arapahoe County.

The sheriff’s department said the white vehicle was westbound on Yale Avenue around 4:45 p.m. when it turned left onto South Syracuse Way and struck a bicycle heading eastbound on Yale. The car drove away.

The bicyclist, Kraig Stovall, 53, of Aurora, is listed in serious condition at Swedish Medical Center.

The white car, possibly a Dodge Neon or a Toyota Corolla, was last seen traveling south on South Syracuse Way. It is missing its right-side rear-view mirror and has damage to the passenger-side door.

Anyone with information about this accident or the white car is asked to call the Colorado State Patrol at (303) 239-4583.
