COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The father of a 3-week-old boy who suffered a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain has been arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, police said.
Michael Douglas, 23, was arrested Thursday, after the baby’s mother took the child to Penrose Community Hospital. The baby later was flown to The Children’s Hospital in Denver, police said.
Police said the boy was believed to have been injured at an apartment in southeast Colorado Springs. It was unclear how he was hurt.
