PUEBLO, Colo.—A weather system moving into Colorado could bring up to 10 inches of snow to parts of the high country by late Sunday.
Chain restrictions went into effect on Loveland Pass on Interstate 70 and at the Eisenhower Tunnel on Saturday night.
The National Weather Service has issued snow advisories for the higher elevations, which include Leadville, Independence Pass and Pikes Peak.
Snow is expected to be heavy at times.
Patchy fog and scattered showers are expected along the Front Range. In Denver, where the Colorado Rockies play the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, temperatures are expected to be in the 40s by game time Sunday evening.
