The Jefferson Saints will no longer march.
Stricken by low participation and injuries, Jefferson has decided to forfeit the remaining three games on its football schedule.
Class 3A Central Metro League games against Rock Canyon and Mountain Range, plus a nonleague game at Windsor, were all forfeited.
The Saints started the season with just 26 players and were down to 13 healthy bodies as of last week.
Their Oct. 5 game at Summit was called at halftime, when injuries reduced the Saints to just 11 players and referees called it a 37-0 final.
