Located just across the harbor from Savannah, this hotel offers great views of the water and the giant cargo ships that pass by. Getting into the city is easy via a quick, and romantic, water taxi. If he likes golf and she likes fancy dinners on the town, this place could save your marriage.
It’s close to: The streets, parks and cemeteries of Savannah, where there’s plenty to see and do. And the Hilton Head Island beaches are an hour away.
The rooms are: Well-appointed, but basic. No complaints about the mini- bar, but the décor could be more luxurious for a “resort.” Ask for a water view, or you could be disappointed.
