COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Chad Rau scored his second goal 2:42 into overtime to lift Colorado College to a 2-1 overtime win over Minnesota on Saturday night.

Rau’s first goal at 15:36 in the second period on a power play tied it at 1-1.

Minnesota (2-2-0, 0-2-0 WCHA) scored first on Blake Wheeler’s goal at 4:24 of the second period before the Tigers (2-0-0, 2-0-0) and goalie Richard Bachman shut down the Gophers.

Bachman had 38 saves against Minnesota. Jeff Frazee finished with 25 saves for Minnesota, which failed to convert on seven power-play chances.

The Tigers were 1-for-4 on power plays.

Colorado College defeated Minnesota 3-1 on Friday night.
