A second person has died as a result of a rollover car crash early Saturday, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported today.
A 26-year-old male passenger died hours after the crash.
The 20-year-old female driver died at the scene, and the condition of a 19-year-old female passenger wasn’t available Sunday.
The identities of the three victims, believed to be from the Byers area, have not been released pending notification of family members, said Sgt. Candi Baker, spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened about 1 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 36 near View Ridge Drive in Bennett.
Only one car was involved, and none of the occupants appeared to be wearing seat belts.
The Colorado State Patrol is assisting in the investigation.
