BOULDER, Colo.—The Camera newspaper will be printed at a plant in nearby Denver instead of downtown Boulder starting with Tuesday’s editions.

The Denver plant is owned by the Camera’s co-owners, E.W. Scripps Co. and ap, Camera Editor Kevin Kaufman said in a column in Sunday’s editions.

The Denver plant has newer and more advanced presses and will improve quality, offer more color capability and allow more consistency in where features appear, Kaufman said.

Monday’s editions will be the last ones printed on the Boulder press, Kaufman said.

The Camera is published by Prairie Mountain Publishing, owned by Cincinnati-based Scripps and Denver-based MediaNews.

The Denver printing plant is operated by the Denver Newspaper Agency, which is also a Scripps-MediaNews operation.
