The $2.9 million Skatepark is the largest outdoor free public skate facility in the United States, according to Denver Parks and Recreation.
Located in the South Platte River District, the park features an assortment of concrete bowls ranging from 4 to 12 feet deep.
Washington Park, which Parks and Recreation says is considered one of Denver’s most beautiful, offers 165 acres of trails, flower beds and meandering paths.
City officials said there are 54 flower beds in the park, with one of the most distinct being a replica of Martha Washington’s garden at Mount Vernon, Va., constructed in 1926.
