DENVER—The Denver Nuggets waived five players after a 114-102 preseason win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.
The Nuggets cut Anthony Roberson, Stacey Augmon, Jelani McCoy, Brad Stricker and Mike Wilks, bringing the roster to 14 players.
Wilks played more than 5 minutes Tuesday night and hit the only shot from the field he attempted. None of the other players waived got into the game.
Roberson averaged 14.2 points in five preseason games for Denver.
Augmon has played in 1,001 career NBA games with Atlanta, Detroit, Portland, Charlotte/New Orleans and Orlando. He was originally selected by the Hawks with the ninth overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft.
