Re: Pricey RV feeds hungry film workers, Oct. 10
I was just reading your story online about Chef Robért and chuckled when I got to the part about you doing the double-take on Murphy’s double. I was one of the few Denver actors lucky enough to have a speaking role in the movie, and when I saw Murphy’s double (his name is Virgil Carter) I did the same thing you did.
I kept staring at him trying to decide whether I thought it was Murphy or a double. He looked so much like him, yet not quite.
Then when I got on set and did my scene with Eddie, I realized the other guy was indeed his double. I’ve attached a photo of Virgil and me. I have it hanging in my office – I’m just letting people come to their own conclusions (no, I never got a picture with Eddie himself).
