Qwest announced that the New York state Office of General Services has awarded the company a comprehensive telecommunications services contract. The contract allows Qwest to sell telecommunications services to all New York state agencies, city and county governments, universities and school districts over a 10-year term.

The State Farm Insurance Cos. donated $99,500 to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley as part of a ongoing partnership. UNC’s Monfort College of Business received a $86,500 donation, and other university programs got the remaining $13,000.

ECollege of Denver announced a partnership with San Mateo County Community College District in California to expand the school’s online education opportunities. ECollege also announced upgrades to its online learning system.

Statera, a Denver-based provider of business and technology solutions, established a new geo-intelligence practice. Statera will be able to expand its offerings to include geospatial technologies into business applications, such as site selection, market research and supply-chain management.

based kiosk and digital signage company, signed a letter of intent with Tellagent, a credit union services organization of New Jersey’s Paragon Federal Credit Union, to distribute Pantel’s e-banking ATM as well as other products and services.
