A 27-year-old Loveland man died at the scene of a rollover accident in Larimer County.
Ronald Scattergood was not wearing a seatbelt Tuesday and was partially thrown from the car he was riding in, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
At about 7:20 a.m. Bruce Fleming, 24, also of Loveland, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier north on Colorado Highway 287 when it drifted off the right side of the road, the state patrol said in a press release.
The car crashed into a guardrail and rolled three times coming to a stop in a drainage ditch.
Fleming, who also was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the car and suffered serious injuries, the state patrol said. He was taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
The crash in under investigation.
Alcohol or drugs are not suspected as contributing to the crash, the state patrol said.
