University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center chancellor M. Roy Wilson recommended a new name Wednesday for the school: University of Colorado Denver.
The two-campus system, with its downtown campus and the Anschutz medical campus in Aurora, has been struggling with its name since 2004 when the regents combined the two campuses into one entity. The longer name was temporary.
The regents meet Monday at the Warwick Hotel in Denver and should vote on the measure.
