NORTHWOOD UNIVERSITY: Linda Alvarado, founder, president and chief executive of Alvarado Construction and co-owner of the Colorado Rockies, has been named one of the university’s Distinguished Women of 2007. Alvarado is one of eight top national female business leaders, philanthropists and educators to be recognized.
