Images of two young men taken in an area where dozens of cars were damaged were released today by police in hopes that someone will identify the duo.

During the early-morning hours of Aug. 4, tires were slashed on 46 cars in the Old Town section of Fort Collins, police said in a press release.

The vandalism happened between 2 and 6 a.m. on blocks bordered by Howes, Laurel, Sherwood and Maple Streets, police said.

Police estimate the damage at about $6,500.

Anyone with information about the identity of the two men is asked to call Detective Wes Haynes at 970-221-6577 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
