A military policeman will be thrown out of the Air Force after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.
Senior Airman Carlos M. Martinez, an E-4 airman assigned to the 10th Security Forces Squadron at the Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs, pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of possession of images of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
In exchange for the guilty plea, Martinez will be dishonorably discharged from the Air Force at the reduced rank of E-1, he will be jailed for 30 months and he will forfeit all pay and allowances.
The Air Force clarified that Martinez is not a cadet at the Air Force Academy. A spokesman had no other information about Martinez.
