The event has been advertised as a book signing and reading, but that’s only part of the attraction. The Nov. 3 event at the Tattered Cover, 2526 E. Colfax Ave., more succinctly is an opportunity to sit across a table from genius – at least from a coldwater angler’s perspective.
No one knows more about the trout and salmon species of the world than Robert Behnke, Colorado State University professor emeritus. During a 25-year period, Behnke wrote essays for each issue of “Trout Magazine.” These pearls of wisdom have been gathered in a handsome book, “About Trout,” illustrated by artist Joseph Tomelleri.
