DENVER—The Colorado Rockies, struggling to stay in contention in the World Series, will take any help they can get.

And if the Mile High elevation isn’t enough, the tallest building in Denver will be backlit in purple tonight when the Rockies host the Boston Red Sox, trailing two games to none.

The 714-foot-high building will be visible for miles.

Not only will it sport the Rockies’ colors, the top 20 stories will display the lighted letters “C” and “R.”

So far there are no plans for Dinger, the Rockies’ mascot, to make an appearance atop the skyscraper.
