DENVER—Goalie Alex Stalock withstood 43 shots on goal to give Minnesota Duluth a 3-0 victory over Denver on Saturday night and a split of their weekend series.
MacGregor Sharp and Rob Bordson scored to put the Bulldogs (4-1-1, 3-1-0 WCHA) ahead 2-0 in the second period. Matt Greer added Duluth’s final goal at 9:10 of the third as Duluth made the most of its 13 shots against Denver netminder Peter Mannino.
Denver (4-2-0, 1-1-0) was unable to convert on seven power-play opportunities, while Minnesota Duluth was 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
The Pioneers won 5-1 on Friday night.
