KNOXVILLE, Tenn.—The University of Tennessee will induct Todd Helton into the Tennessee Baseball Hall of Fame.
The school also will retire his No. 3 Tennessee jersey at a banquet Jan. 30 at the Knoxville Convention Center.
He starred on the diamond at Tennessee from 1993-1995.
Helton also played football at Tennessee, appearing in 12 games as a quarterback from 1992-1994 and throwing four touchdown passes.
He helped lead the Colorado Rockies to the 2007 World Series in his 10th major league season.
