GEORGETOWN, Colo.—Keystone Resort plans to open Friday, a week earlier than scheduled, because of natural snowfall and good conditions for snow-making.
The resort says it has a 12-inch base.
Copper Mountain Resort also plans to open Friday.
Keystone and Copper will be the third and fourth resorts in the state to open this season.
Arapahoe Basin was first, on October 10th. Loveland was second, on October 16th.
Other Colorado resorts are scheduled to open between November 9th and December 19th.
