MONTREAL — Bombardier Inc. said a Danish probe into a Q400 turboprop’s crash landing “clearly” supports the position that the plane is safe.
“We have unwavering confidence in the Q400 aircraft, and we stand by our product,” Steven Ridolfi, head of the Montreal-based company’s regional-aircraft unit, said Monday in a statement.
The report may bolster Bombardier’s reputation, which suffered following the Oct. 27 accident in Copenhagen and two other landing-gear failures on Q400s in September.
No deaths resulted from the incidents.
