A middle-school student in Highlands Ranch was injured Monday in a fall or jump from a second-story level into a commons area.
The boy, 14, a student at Rocky Heights Middle School, was taken by ambulance to Littleton Hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, said Doug Ireland, a Littleton Fire Department spokesman. Officials were still trying to piece together what happened.
