Funeral arrangements have been made for a 25-year-old father of three who was killed in a multiple shooting in LoDo in which six other people were injured.
A private funeral service for family and friends will be held for Theodore “Ted” Padilla at 10 a.m. Friday at Presentation of Our Lady Catholic Church in Denver.
He will be buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery following the funeral.
A candlelight vigil will be held for the general public tonight at 7 p.m. in LoDo where he was shot to death.
Family members say Padilla was celebrating his cousin’s birthday at the nightclub Hush when he was singled out for wearing two expensive chains.
Police are searching for Anthony Chavez, 25, who is suspected of killing Padilla and injuring the other six, said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.
