COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — Andreas Vlassopoulos had one goal and two assists and Derek Patrosso added a goal and an assist Friday as Colorado College defeated Minnesota-Duluth, 5-3.

Colorado College had an explosive second period, scoring four of its goals during that section of play. Colorado College led 5-2 at the end of the second.

Colorado College’s other three goals came from Brian McMillin, Chad Rau and Steve Schultz.

For Minnesota-Duluth, Jordan Fulton had a goal and an assist, and Matt McKnight and Justin Fontaine each scored a goal.

Minnesota-Duluth goalie Alex Stalock ended the night with 25 saves. Richard Bachman had 24 saves for Colorado College.
