Curse of the Snake?
It seems obvious to me that the problem with the Broncos goes beyond X’s and O’s, and even talent. Remember the Boston Red Sox’s “curse of the Bambino” after they traded Babe Ruth. Likewise, the Broncos are suffering under the “curse of the Snake.” Jake Plummer was arguably one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL when Mike Shanahan decided he needed to play with his “new toy,” Jay Cutler. What the Broncos
really needed at the time was a better offensive line. Since, it has been one catastrophe after another for the Broncos. Jake is a fine gentleman and deserved better.

Suspend Henry now
Travis Henry should be benched by the Broncos until the ruling comes in about his possible suspension. Henry has become a huge distraction. A suspension by the Broncos, and not the NFL, until the hearing on Friday causes two things to happen. One, there will be no more talk about Henry’s drug use and playing status. Two, the Broncos will be able to concentrate on their season, instead of Travis Henry.
