DENVER—Bethany Beck had 20 kills and Morgan Broekhuis added 17 kills and 20 assists to lead Colorado Springs Christian to its fourth straight Class 3A state volleyball championship by beating Classical Academy Saturday night.
Colorado Springs Christian (23-7), the No. 6 seed, dropped the first game 22-25, before winning the next three 25-21, 25-11, 25-23.
Hannah Walker had an impressive 32 assists in the victory.
Brianne VandeGriend had 8 kills, 4 aces and 8 digs for Colorado Springs Christian.
Third-seeded Classical Academy, also from Colorado Springs, appeared in its first championship match.
