DENVER—Lacey Turner posted 12 kills, 2 aces and 30 digs Saturday night, leading Mountain View to its third state volleyball championship by beating Cheyenne Mountain 3-1 at the Denver Coliseum for the 4A crown.

Kendra Roark had 17 kills for Mountain View (26-4), the No. 5 seed which won 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-14.

Megan Roark added 47 assists and two aces for Mountain View, which appeared in its fifth straight championship match and won its first crown since taking back-to-back titles in 2003-04. The Mountain Lions, from Loveland, were the runners up the last two years.

Second-seeded Cheyenne Mountain (27-3), from Colorado Springs, played in its first state volleyball championship.
