ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Tech jumped to a big lead early, with four first-period goals, and held off an Air Force rally for a 4-3 Atlantic Hockey Association victory over the Falcons in front of 2,011 fans at the Ritter Arena on Saturday.

RIT (3-3-0, 2-2-0) got two goals from Matt Smith to earn a weekend split with Air Force (5-3-0, 3-3-0). The Falcons got a 2-1 overtime win Friday.

Eric Ehn had a goal and two assists to lead Air Force, which pulled within 4-2 in the first period.
