Best advice co-chairs Cindy Halaby and Dr. Dean Prina have for the 2,700 who’ll be at the Colorado Convention Center Wednesday to hear Cokie Roberts speak at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Women’s Foundation of Colorado:
Leave plenty of time to park.
Even though the center is surrounded by garages and surface lots, they fill up fast and early. In fact, Halaby and Prina add, it’s easier, cheaper and more eco-friendly to take light rail; lines D, F and H all stop at the convention center.
And for those who might be hearing about the luncheon for the first time here, sorry. It has been sold out for months and with a waiting list of 300, chances of getting in are slim to none.
On the other hand
