The Denver Broncos today cut defensive tackle Antwon Burton. To replace Burton, Denver is signing Kenny Peterson, who was cut last month.
Peterson can play both inside and outside on the defensive line.
Burton is a second-year player. He had been playing in a defensive-line rotation, and he played in the Broncos’ win at Kansas City on Sunday.
Last week, Denver cut four players, put defensive end Jarvis Moss on injured reserve and signed quarterback Darrell Hackney.
