Commerce City police are looking for Tirrell Audrelius Middleton on an attempted murder charge in the shooting of a 16 year old early this week. A warrant has been issued for Middleton, 27, who may be heading for Kansas, Missouri or New Mexico.
“He is a wanderer, he isn’t associated with any particular address. He has connections with those particular states,” said Commerce City police spokesman Lanissa A. Blevens.
Middleton is a black male approximately 5 foot, five inches and 160 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, two teardrops tattooed near his right eye and a large tattoo on his upper chest.
He is wanted in connection with the shooting in a mobile home park along Colorado 2 on Monday afternoon.
Blevens said she doesn’t know how the teen, who was taken to Denver Health Medical Center after the shooting, is doing.
Police said Middleton may be in a brown, two-tone Ford Truck, a Green four-door Chevrolet Impala type car, or a silver Ford Focus.
He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on the shooting should call Commerce City police at 303-227-8831.
