DENVER—The Colorado Avalanche recalled forward Brad Richardson from Cleveland of the AHL on Friday.
He was expected to join the team in time for Friday night’s game against the Stars in Dallas.
Richardson was assigned to Cleveland on Nov. 7 after recovering from a wrist injury suffered in workouts before training camp.
With the Avalanche last season, Richardson had 22 points, including 14 goals, in 73 games. All were career highs.
