GREELEY, Colo.—Jabril Banks scored 19 points to lead Northern Colorado to a 64-46 win over Denver on Saturday night.
The Bears (2-2) led by as many as 20 in the second half.
Denver (2-2) used an eight-point run to tie the game at 11 with just under 13 minutes to go in the first half, but Northern Colorado pulled away to 34-23 by halftime.
Northern Colorado shot 51 percent for the game while Denver shot 42 percent from the field.
The Pioneers’ highest scorer was David Kummer with 10 points.
